Idle Farmyard

A relaxing idle tycoon game for iOS and Android

Idle Farmyard is a casual idle tycoon game about building a farming empire. Players upgrade their farm, automate production so it keeps earning while they're away, and prestige to grow faster each run.

It was the first project I made after graduating. I built it and released it on the App Store and Google Play in April 2021, complete with ads, in-app purchases, cloud saves and analytics.

  1. 01

    Monetisation

Rewarded video ads through Unity Ads let players double their offline earnings or claim a boost, and Unity IAP sells packs of premium currency on both stores.

  2. 02

    Sign-in and cloud saves

Players sign in with Google Play Games and their farm is saved to the cloud, so progress carries over to a new device. Saves are batched to limit network calls, and purchases are saved straight away so they're never lost.

  3. 03

    Analytics

Unity Analytics reports on player numbers, sessions and retention, alongside in-app purchase revenue.
